A day in the life of SFO's new control tower. From different vantage points around the Airport we see how the sunlight falls on the tower. At sunrise the east side of the tower, which faces the runway, is illuminated with a soft peach-colored glow. The sun passes overhead, casting spectacular shadows in the public corridor at the tower's base. At sunset the tower reflects the sky's beautiful pink and violet hues. Finally as the sun drops behind the Santa Cruz mountains, the LED light waterfall comes online.
